Your dream elopement come true__
I’ve been there__
Adding up the cost of a big wedding and asking myself if it’s really worth it.
Thumbing through my invite list wondering how I’m going to spend time with everyone.
Drowning in overwhelm thinking there’s got to be an easier way.
Spoiler alert; it doesn’t need to be stressful.
We shifted our focus to an elopement in one of our favourite spots with just a couple of our best friends. We sorted out the logistics, got married in an intimate ceremony, and had the best day in a beautiful place.

FAQ’s__
-
I’m always going to be transparent with you, and that starts here. Depending on the activities you want to include in your elopement, you might incur some additional fees. This could come from Ski Lift Tickets, a helicopter charter, or additional guests to feed and transport.
-
Of course you can! If you’re like me and love the research, emails, and phone calls, go for it - I’d still love to photograph your adventure!
-
Because it’s freaking awesome. Seriously, I’ve never had a single client or guest tell me they don’t love Revelstoke. It’s got all the big mountain adventure without losing its small town charm. Our community is amazing, and when comparing it to places like Banff or Whistler, it’s honestly a hidden gem. We’ve got any outdoor activity you can think of but without the massive crowds!
-
Of course! We’ll hop on a call to work out what is the right fit for you. And if nothing is quite hitting the mark, we’ll come up with something new that does.
-
Traditionally, elopements consist of the couple and their 2 witnesses, but since when do I follow traditions? While the packages above are made for 2 guests, we can add on as many as logistics allow.
-
If needed, I can plan your elopement in just a couple of days. That being said, about 3 months notice is preferred!
-
The weather changes fast in the mountains and can be super tricky to predict. Typically we can wait it out or adjust our timeline for the day to work around it. It’s possible, however, for conditions to make it too dangerous to move forward with our planned objective. I’m no stranger to adjusting to things on the fly, and always have back up plans or alternative locations on hand. I’m flexible to bump things back or up a day and will work with your vendors to figure out a solution that still fits your vision.
-
It hasn’t happened yet, but I know it’s always a possibility. Luckily I’ve got a great network of wedding vendors, photographers, guides, and friends here in Revelstoke that I’m confident I could pull together a team to replace me if needed.
-
Of course! It’s my job to help you feel at ease the entire day, and that includes when I’m taking photos. This isn’t my first rodeo, and I’ve got lots of tricks up my sleeve to help you enjoy your time taking photos and cherish them for years to come.
-
I know how eager you will be to announce your marriage and share photos of your adventure elopement with loved ones! That’s why I get right to work and send you 15 edited photos the next day. After that, you can expect to wait about 6 weeks for your entire gallery. I take my time selecting the best photos and meticulously retouch each one to share your story through a beautiful collection of photos. It takes a bit of time, but trust me, it’s worth it.
-
Photos of your elopement will be sent to you in an online gallery. From there you will be able to share them with your friends and family, download them to post to social media, and order prints and artwork. You can also create a folder of your favourite images to be includes in your album.
-
Yes! All of my elopement packages include a custom designed, hand bound, archival album made right here in Canada. These heirloom pieces will serve as the best way to look back on your day for generations to come.
-
We’ve got a huge collection of professional cameras, lenses, and flashes to capture every detail of your elopement from any vantage point. For camera nerds like us, our list of main gear and back-ups include: Canon R5ii, 5Div, RP, & 6D. Sony A7iii & RX100vii. DJI Mini 4 Pro. 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L, 24-105 4.0L (x3), 16-35 4.0L, 28 2.8, 35 1.4 ART, 50 1.8 (x3), 85 1.2L, 100 2.8L. Godox AD200, TT600 (x2), TT350.
-
Absolutely! I’m bi myself and am an active part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community here in Revelstoke. I wholeheartedly celebrate queer love and would be honoured to photograph your elopement. You’ll be sure to get a prominent spot on my website too so this question isn’t needed to be asked.
-
For sure! Visit our portfolio in the main menu or there’s a slideshow right below! They’re better on a wide screen, so turn your phone sideways if you’re not on a computer.

How it works__
Reach Out
Complete our intake form to let me know you’re interested.
-
It’s likely that you haven’t picked a specific date, but let me know what time of year you have in mind or if there’s a day of the week that you’re limited to. Be sure to include the year as well!
-
It’s okay if you haven’t narrowed it down yet, but let me know what kind of activities you’re leaning towards including in your elopement. Think of things like hiking, paddling, climbing, snowboarding, ski touring, snowmobiling, mountaineering, biking.
-
It’s super helpful for both of us to know what we’re working with going in. This way I can make more economical decisions if needed or go above and beyond to give you an extra luxe experience.
2. Meet Up
We’ll have a video call to learn more about each other.
-
I’ll come prepared with a few questions to learn about the two of you and get an understanding for what your dream elopement will feel like.
-
I’ll tell you about me and my background and what you can expect working together. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have for me.
-
We’ll discuss a broad plan for your elopement and which package best fits your needs and budget.
-
After all your questions are answered, we’ll say our goodbyes and you can take all the time you need to discuss with each other if I’m the right fit for you or not.
3. Put it in Writing
We agree to work together to plan and photograph your mountain elopement.
-
Your answers will serve as my go-to while planning the outline and vibe of your day. I’ll ask you things like your favourite colours, how much you want to be involved in choosing the little details, and even if you want to sweat or not.
-
This signed document will outline everything that is included in my services and protect us both if the unforeseen comes up. This will ensure that we’re both still covered in the event of an accident, illness, or oh, I don’t know, a global pandemic.
-
I will split your total cost into 3 equal payments. The first is due upon booking and covers all the time I spend planning your elopement.
-
I dive deep into the planning phase using tools like a shared Pinterest board to gain inspiration and your questionnaire to keep me in line on the details. And you know I’ll always have that google sheets tab open to stay on budget.
-
We’ll have a meeting where I’ll present to you everything I’ve dreamt up. This includes a detailed timeline, vendors that fit your needs, and all the logistics to make your elopement run smoothly. This is also when I’ll bring up any additional costs like a helicopter charter or lift tickets at the ski resort.
-
You’ll have time alone to review my plan, request changes, and sign off on final decisions.
-
Your second payment will be due upon your approval of your elopement plan. This will be the same amount as your first payment plus any additional costs we discussed. This payment allows me to book vendors, accommodations, and make any other purchases needed for your day.
4. Paint the picture
I work my magic building your dream elopement.
5. The final countdown
I’ve made a list and checked it twice.
-
and relax while I book vendors and organize logistics.
-
When everything’s locked and loaded, we’ll jump on one more call to review the details, timeline, and triple check we’re all on the same page.
-
Your final payment will be for the same amount as your first and is due 2 weeks before your elopement. It will cover my photography and photo editing time.
-
I’ll be working behind the scenes to make sure everything and everyone is where they need to be. I’ll be with you to keep things flowing and photograph your elopement, but also give you some space and alone time to savour together.
-
I get to work right away and send you some photos the next day to share with your loved ones and announce your marriage!
-
You can expect your full photo gallery delivered about a month after your elopement. We will then communicate by email to design your physical photo album before it’s mailed to you.
6. Elope in Revelstoke!
It’s time to do what you came here for.
